Tinkering and Graphic Design:

I like to spend some of my free time tinkering and designing. Often, I have two or three small projects going at once. Typically my projects are heavy in mechanical or graphic design, but sometimes I like to make electrical or software projects as well. Typically, I do these projects to resolve some small problem or difficulty I have, but often I do them just for fun. For example, I've made a small-fold out shelf to put above my desk, a pull-up bar, a program that helps you choose colors for graphic design, and much more.

One of the things I spent a lot of time tinkering with was a quadcopter. I decided to make it while at school and created it using a 3D-printed base and a laser-cut top. It flies pretty well, and I've even carried it with me on some hikes to get cool shots. If you want more information, see this project in my portfolio.

I enjoy doing graphic design in my free time. While I am certainly no professional, it is a fun hobby, and I hope to keep developing my skills.

I also liked to take advantage of the resources we had available to us at Olin. I spent a lot of time designing and making laser-cut art.

I've also made some useful things for myself. For example, I made this fold-out shelf for my desk, a holder for my water-bottles, and a pullup-bar for my room.

Making gifts for my family and friends is easy with all the resources I had at Olin. Above is an octopus I made for my little sister. As you can see, it has been well loved.

I like translating my designs to the real world, and have made many screen printing designs such as the one above. This design, I  screen-printed onto a T-shirt.
