Adventure

Since I was a little kid, I've always loved adventure, but in the last few years, adventuring has a become a big part of my life. For me, adventure is about striking into the unknown, pushing my physical and mental limits. It's about having new experiences, becoming closer to new friends and old and connecting with a part of the world that we so often ignore. So far on my adventures I've climbed Mt. Rainier, the tallest peak in Washington, hiked countless trails in the Pacific Northwest, swam in glacial lakes, bouldered in dark caves, and watched the sun set over the Cascade Mountains. Adventuring is a lifelong passion, and I can't wait to keep going further.

My adventures now include hiking, biking, climbing, canyoning, and skiing. Exploring new and unique places or pushing your limits is part of what makes adventuring so much fun. Best of all is the time that you get to spend with family and friends while doing so.

After the summer of my senior year of high school, I climbed Mt. Rainier, the highest mountain in Washington and the 5th highest in the country. Since then, I've continued to develop mountaineering and climbing skills to pursue bigger goals.

Skiing has been one of my biggest passions since I was a little kid. Some of my happiest times have been spending time with my family on a ski slope, and some of my proudest have been landing a new trick. Skiing allows you to push yourself further than you ever thought possible, which is why I have fallen in love with it.

While being adventurous is exciting, one of the best parts about it is getting to let go and just have fun. I enjoy being goofy and messing around with my friends. Sometimes it's fun to just slip and fall down.

The two pictures above are from one of my favorite hikes: Rampart Lakes. With amazing sunsets and tranquil lakes, it is a beautiful area.

This picture is from Martha's Vineyard, near Cape Cod Massachusetts. I took a weekend trip with my friends and enjoyed exploring the island.

These are some pictures from some of my other adventures. I'm extremely thankful for all the time I've been able to spend exploring the outdoors with friends and family.
